SPI (WS2811, WS2815, SK6812, APA102 family) is cost-effective and has a large effect library, suitable for signage, decoration and short runs. DMX512 uses a balanced differential signal that stays stable over long cable runs and connects directly to professional lighting consoles, so it is the standard for facade and landscape engineering projects. If your installation is longer than 20 meters or requires console control, specify DMX512.
DC5V is normally limited to about 5 meters per feed point and is common for small pixel products. DC12V works well up to 10 meters and is widely used for WS2815 pixel strips. DC24V supports runs of 15 to 20 meters with less voltage drop, which makes it the preferred option for COB strips, long cove lighting and engineering projects.
IP20 is for indoor dry locations. IP65 has a silicone or epoxy coating and suits semi-outdoor and bathroom areas. IP67 uses a silicone tube and is standard for outdoor signage and facade outline. IP68 is fully potted for continuous immersion such as pools and fountains. Higher protection reduces heat dissipation, so derate the current or choose a lower density version for outdoor use.
Standard samples are available for evaluation and the sample cost is refundable against a confirmed bulk order. Custom samples are quoted separately based on tooling and material, with a typical lead time of 3 to 7 working days. For standard models the MOQ is usually one reel (5 meters) for trial orders, with bulk pricing starting from larger quantities.
Standard warranty is 3 years for LED strips and pixel chips under normal use conditions. Every reel goes through AOI inspection after reflow and an aging test before packing, and batch level test records are available on request. For warranty claims we provide replacement parts or products after confirming the failure cause.
